We say the latter is correct. Take note that your skin is an organ, and just like any organ of the human body, it is made up of cells. These cells are actually made up of water. If you don't have enough water in your body, the cells will be damaged.

Following this train of thought, we can say that if you do not drink enough water, your skin will become parched, old, and crumbly.

So, if you want to attain a fresh, youthful glow on your skin, it is imperative that you keep yourself hydrated.

Know Your Skin Type

To know what products to use, the first thing that you should do is to know your specific skin type. Do you have normal or dry skin? Is oily skin an issue you are troubled with? Or is your skin sensitive to certain products and regimens?

If you have a combination of all these skin types and also for those with oily skin, the best thing to do is to get a good night’s sleep, hydrate, and choose a facial wash with glycolic acid. This kind of acid is perfect for all kinds of skin conditions. It helps break down oil clogged in pores while it rejuvenates the skin and gives it a vibrant glow.

For those with normal skin, it does not mean that you can just try anything. It is still safe to use a facial wash that is not too harsh and skin products that maintain the clarity and healthy glow of the skin. Also, you can try skin serums with hydrating or rejuvenating properties. These kinds of serums will really help improve the look of your skin.

For those with dry and sensitive skin, look for moisturizers with tons of natural vitamin E to enliven your skin. Also, if you have parched skin, it is important that you use anti-aging creams to moisturize and revitalize your skin and plump it up from within.

If You Still Got A Month To Prepare, Exfoliate!

However, if you find yourself in an emergency situation like a last-minute date or a last-minute invitation to attend a party, remain calm. You can still have a glowing skin overnight!
